- Jessica Alba, 40, just shared a super relatable no-makeup video to Instagram stories.
- The Honest Company’s founder admitted she woke up super early after getting no sleep and needs coffee.
- Her skin is seriously glowing, though. Her go-to skincare routine is full of Honest Beauty skin products.
Actress, CEO, mom, and all-around badass Jessica Alba glows from the inside. In a new no-makeup video posted to Instagram Stories, she told followers about her sleep issues while showing off her dazzling, fresh complexion.
“I really didn’t get much sleep last night,” she whispers in the video, like she’s venting to her BFF. “So annoying. I woke up at four for no good reason. Ugh, coffee.”
Yep, Jessica did wake up like that. She owes her no-sleep-required dewy skin to the Honest Company’s clean beauty products (which, full disclosure, she owns; the company recently went public at $412.8 million.)
Jessica turned her quick clip into a hilarious morning montage about her #momlife on TikTok, too.

Last year, she shared her full skincare routine on Youtube, breaking down her multi-step ritual (while wearing the cutest headband with teddy-bear ears). She starts by applying the Honest Beauty Prime + Perfect Mask to clean skin.
“I love this mask because it makes my skin look tighter and brighter… and it smells so good,” she explains, adding the same brand’s Magic Balm to her eyelids. While waiting for the mask to work its magic, Jessica does focused breathing, where she inhales for four seconds, holds it for four seconds, and exhales for four seconds.

After removing the mask with warm water and Gentle Konjac Sponges, she applies Vitamin C Serum and Hydrogel Cream, which, she said, “instantly hydrates your face. Your face looks like it just took a big drink of water.” Then she finishes with a swipe of Magic Balm luminizing cream and a spritz of Elevated Hydration Mist.
“It’s an instant spa treatment,” she said. No sleep, no prob for Jess.
