All the Love Island stars who have dated Islanders from other series

Every year dozens of singles enter Love Island in search of the one, but many end up leaving the villa with little more than a few sponsored Instagram posts up their sleeves.

Instead, a huge number of Islanders have got together with contestants who starred in different series to their own.

Arabella Chi and Wes Nelson have just got together, Theo Campbell and Kaz Crossley are going strong and Laura Anderson and Maz Morley had an on/off relationship, to name just a few.

Here we take a look at all the pairings who might have fared better if they were in the villa at the same time and who prove just how interconnected the seasons are…

Arabella and Wes

Arabella, 29, briefly appeared in Love Island this summer, enjoying a romance with Danny Williams before she was dumped from the villa.

She confirmed she was dating Wes from last year's series earlier this month by posting a loved-up snap of the two of them to Instagram.

The model wrote: "Delicious Evening With A Delicious Human."

Wes, 21, was previously coupled up with Megan Barton-Hanson but they split earlier this year.

Her ex Danny was reportedly fuming with the news, despite being coupled up with Jourdan Riane.

A source close to Danny told The Sun Online: "Danny is still very attracted to Arabella and has been really impressed by her since she left the show."

Theo and Kaz

Kaz and Theo from the 2017 series went public with their romance back in May after the make-up artist split with her Love Island boyfriend Josh Denzel .

Shortly after the news broke, Josh tweeted: "Girls that move on before it’s been three years after a break up. Three years? How about three weeks?!"

Kaz, who was in the villa last year, has been supporting Theo since he lost his eyesight in one eye following a freak Champagne cork accident.

The brunette, 25, jetted out to Ibiza nurse Theo 28, back to health.

Laura and Max

Laura, 29, and Max, 26, first went official last October after weeks of secret dates.

She came runner up in 2018 with Paul Knopps, while he won the first series alongside Jess Hayes.

They split just three months later as they called it a day just after Christmas.

Despite getting back together in May, the couple split once again in July and she is vowed never to take him back .

Jack and Joanna

Joanna Chimonides, 22, needed a shoulder to cry on when she left the villa this summer ater Michael Griffiths didn't leave with her following her dumping.

But she had the last laugh when 2018 contestant Jack Fowler met her at the airport .

Onlookers were shocked when Joanna wrapped her legs around the 23-year-old while he lifted her in the air.

But the pair later claimed they were nothing more than just good friends.

Rykard and Alexandra

Rumours were rife last year that Alexandra Cane from 2018 and Rykard Jenkins from 2016 were dating.

The couple have known each other for years and were reportedly seen getting close on a night out in Manchester.

A source told The Sun: "There’s no denying their chemistry together – they've been close friends for a while now. They were seen kissing as they partied and looked very much like a couple."

But Alexandra, 28, denied she was dating Rykard, also 28.

She tweeted: "Current status: extremely single."
