Carol Vorderman and Holly Willoughby lead Pride Of Britain in scarlet gowns

Fiery red is definitely the hot choice of colour at this year's Pride Of Britain Awards.

TV presenter Carol Vorderman led the flurry of red dresses as she made a statement with her red carpet arrivals.

The 58-year-old donned a princess-inspired scarlet gown with a big satin skirt and plunging sweetheart neckline.

She wowed in the red number as she prepared to host the glamorous event, which is held at the Grosvenor House in London.

Carol looked stunning as she made a vibrant red carpet appearance ahead of her annual hosting role.

Dazzling diamond earrings sparkled in her ears, however it was her chic red dress that took center stage.

Holly Willoughby also wowed the crowds in flaming red as she turned heads on arrival at the Pride of Britain Awards 2019.

The 38-year-old This Morning presenter donned the spectacular gown that was full length, which seemed to be the order of the night among celebrities.

Another celebrity also choosing to confidently strut the red carpet in red was Love Island winner Amber Gill.

The former beauty technician teased her incredible curves in a slinky satin dress with a thigh-high split.

The red dress also featured a plunging halter neck design and a subtle tied-in waist.

Amber donned a sultry make-up look with a dramatic smoky eyeshadow and nude lipgloss while she wore her curly locks in a stylish updo.

Another star donning red for the Pride Of Britain Awards was Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse.

The BBC judge stunned in a flattering red dress with dramatic floaty sleeves and a subtle leg split.

Red is the hot number on tonight's award show with Lucy Fallon, Binky Felstead and Nigora Whitehorn also stepping out in the eye-popping colour.

Other celebrities on the red carpet included Love Islanders Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, Amanda Holden , Simon Cowell , the cast of Strictly Come Dancing and her This Morining co-host Phillip Schofield.

This is the 20th anniversary year of the awards and Holly was once again proving why she is one of the most anticipated arrivals.

The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with TSB, will broadcast on ITV on 5th November at 8pm .
