Cindy Crawford, 55, has proved she has no intention of slowing down by re-creating one of her most memorable advertisements ever. The supermodel took to her Instagram yesterday to promote her new work, shot by photographer David Yarrow, which will help raise funds for the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison.

In the photograph, the cultural icon is seen nearly 30 years later wearing the same outfit, consisting of a white tank top and light blue denim Daisy Dukes.

Flaunting her staple voluminous hairstyle and hoop earrings, Cindy posed with a retro can of Pepsi in front of a red car parked by the Halfway House Cafe.

The sensational image also features two wolves who look at the camera from inside the car.

In view of her 5.5 million Instagram followers, the model explained the reason behind the shoot.

The charity is close to Cindy’s heart as she told fans her brother had received treatment for leukaemia at the American Family Children’s Hospital in Wisconsin.

Photographer David and Cindy’s collaboration has so far raised $1 million, according to the mother-of-two.

She wrote: “It’s always a pleasure and a thrill to work with my friend @davidyarrow… and even more so when it’s for a good cause.

“We returned back to the original Halfway House from the famous @pepsi commercial I did in 1992 to recreate the moment (with a David Yarrow twist) in hopes of raising funds for the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison Wisconsin where my brother was treated for leukaemia.

“So far, with the help of David’s gallery network across the globe supporting the art and its sales — we’ve already raised 1 million dollars for the cause.

“I also have to thank my dear friend, hairstylist @peter.savic who did the iconic hair for the original commercial… so I was thrilled he was able to be here for this version as well!

“Thanks also to @samvissermakeup for makeup and @allowitzstyles for styling.

“I think we nailed it!

“Such a fun day –– I can’t wait to show you more.”

Cindy also told fans that more would be advanced on her stories.

Born in 1966, Cindy was brought up in DeKalb, Illinois, with her two sisters, Chris and Danielle.

Tragically, she lost her brother Jeffery to childhood leukaemia when he was three.

The model shot to stardom in the ‘80s alongside other fashion icons like Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista.

Cindy’s beauty mark was one of the attributes that helped her achieve the fashion icon status.

Now, Cindy’s daughter, Kaia Gerber, has followed in her footsteps as she dominates the world’s most reputable catwalks.
