Finley Tapp looks downcast as he returns home from US trip amid Paige split

Finley Tapp looked downcast as he told his fans that he’s on his way home to the UK.

Love Island star Finley has recently been living it up in California on holiday, but began his journey home on Saturday, 29 April.

Documenting his trip in snaps shared on Instagram, Finley posed in front of the famous Hollywood sign.

He also visited Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, where the reality TV star said he “could have walked up and down all day”.

Finley also went to Dana Point for a spot of whale watching.

It’s unclear who Finley went on the trip with, but he wasn’t with his partner Paige Turley, 25, who has recently been spending time in her home country of Scotland.

As he waited at the airport for his flight home, 23 year old Finley looked undeniably glum.

He wrote: "What a trip it's been, now for this flight home [plane emoji]".

Paige and Finley have been living together in Manchester since winning the winter edition of Love Island in 2020, but Finley’s trip to the US came shortly after reports that he has moved out of their shared home.

A source said of their alleged break-up: “Paige and Finn had a really good run, but they are still super young and decided it wasn’t forever in the end."

Speaking about what Paige is doing now, the source added to The Sun: “Paige is spending some time back in Scotland while she works out what she wants to do next.”

OK! contacted Paige and Finley’s reps at the time for comment.

Eagled-eyed Love Island fans have noted that the pair have been spending a lot of time apart of late, further fuelling speculation that they’ve ended their relationship.

Paige broke her social media silence on Thursday, 27 April, amid the reports – but failed to address her and Finley’s relationship status.

Instead, Paige posted a snap of her snacks, including bowls of milk and white chocolate and Space Invader crisps, writing: "Look at that set up”.

Their alleged split comes a few months after Finley teased to OK! that he was considering popping the question to Paige one day.

“Getting married is definitely something that we both want to happen, but we spent almost 2 years of our relationship in and out of lockdown, so we're just catching up on life really,”he told us in October.

"I'd love to marry Paige, but right now, we're just living our best life, and then whatever happens, happens."
