One of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's neighbours have revealed the good deed that the pair have done for Christmas for their local community.
The parents of two now live in Montecito, California, after stepping down from their royal duties in the UK in March 2020.
And it has now been revealed that Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, have fully immersed themselves in their local community, with the Chief of the Montecito Association, Sharon Byrne, speaking highly of the pair on Tuesday's instalment of ITV's Good Morning Britain.
Sharon gushed: "I have to tell you that Harry and Meghan did sponsor our first ever Montecito holiday parade. They were the first people to sponsor it. Very good neighbours."
When probed how they got involved, Sharon continued: "They reached out to us last year, and we gave them some assistance with some issues they were having when they moved in, and they said, right how do we join and what are we doing?
"They came to the fourth of July parade, and no one knew it was them, and they waved at everybody at the fourth of July parade, and then they called me, and they said we'd really like to help with that.
"So I said we had a Christmas parade coming up, why don't you do that and so they did," she said.
Speaking of their "tight-knit" neighbourhood, she added: "During the pandemic, Montecitans were excited because they didn't have to leave their house like they usually have to do – they all got to stay home for a change."
This comes after Meghan's longtime friend and make-up artist said she and Harry, who are parents to son Archie, two, and baby daughter Lilibet, are trying to find a "work-life" balance.
Speaking to People magazine, Daniel Martin said: "They are loving life as a family of four. They've struck a rhythm as a foursome.
"It's about finding that work-life balance now, which ties into Meghan lobbying for parental paid leave. They're experiencing it themselves. They know it affects everyone in the family."
Since moving to America, Harry and Meghan have gone from strength to strength.
Harry has taken on a job as 'chief impact officer' for a Silicon Valley start up called BetterUp – the salary is thought to be at least six figures.
Meghan has appeared on The Ellen Show to chat about her humble beginnings with long-time pal Ellen DeGeneres, and signed book deals worth up to £29million.
They have also embarked on a whirlwind tour of New York and signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify.
