Helen Flanagan will reunite with ex Scott Sinclair over Christmas for sake of children after split

Helen Flanagan is reportedly planning on spending Christmas with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair for the sake of their three young children – but a reconciliation is said to be "out of the question".

The 32 year old former Coronation Street star shares three children, Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and one year old son Charlie, with her footballer ex of 13 years, Scott, 33.

The pair are said to want to make Christmas as "normal as possible" for their children over the festive period, as they plan to spend it together, however there is said to be no wishes for "reconciliation", and instead, the focus is on "co-parenting" their children together.

A source told The Sun: "Helen's sole focus is the three children she shares with Scott and they want to make this Christmas as 'normal' as possible.

"Scott is a professional footballer so often he won't be around on Christmas day because of his fixtures list however Helen and Scott are planning something special for the children.

"Although they're no longer together they will work together to make it magical for the kids. Helen is not open to talk of reconciliation and she just wants them to focus on being co-parents."

OK! has contacted both Helen and Scott's representatives for comment.

Neither Helen, nor Scott, have commented publicly on rumours of their split, however, Helen has been seen on numerous occasions without her engagement ring.

It comes as the soap star and Scott have reportedly called time on their romance after 13 years as a couple.

Helen and her footballer fiancé are believed to have recently hit a rough patch in their relationship, prompting them to call it quits.

The Sun reported that Helen removed her engagement ring in September, and that she has told "those close to her" she's no longer in a relationship with Scott.

“Helen has removed her engagement ring and told those close to her that she is no longer with Scott. They hit a rough patch in the summer and after Helen came back from South Africa it ended for good.

“Helen and Scott have committed to co-parenting their kids as a family unit," an insider told the publication.

OK! contacted representatives for both Helen and Scott at the time.

Helen and Scott started dating in 2009 and went on to welcome their first child, Matilda, in 2015.

Their second daughter, Delilah, was born in 2018, and that same year Scott proposed to former soap star Helen while on a holiday to Disneyland Paris.

Helen then gave birth to the couple's third child, a baby son named Charlie, in 2021.

The couple had been planning their wedding for 2024, as the venue they selected could only accommodate them in two years time.

Alongside wedding planning, Scott and Helen also purchased their dream family home in 2021 with Scott surprising his fiancée with the property.
