“We're gonna do it in Dundee, Lorraine, and you're going to officiate it,” laughed the 32 year old.

Iain and Laura have been dating since 2017 after reportedly meeting at an ITV party where they were introduced to one another by a mutual friend.

Laura recently opened up about the pair’s very first date and revealed it felt “easy”.

The 35 year old, who will be one of the new Team Captains on Celebrity Juice alongside Emily Atack, wrote on Instagram, “I went to a comedy gig on my first date with my partner (HIS idea not mine) it was ok but we didn’t talk because we were in a dark room watching a man I didn’t know tell jokes on the stage.

‘It was only in the pub after that the date got good. When we chatted, it was relaxed and safe… and easy.”

The pair have been giving us #couplegoals during lockdown thanks to their hilarious TikTok videos and stint on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox.

Iain appeared on Lorraine on Friday morning to discuss his upcoming appearance in Soccer Aid 2020.

Of the match, which raises money for children’s charity Unicef, Iain joked, "It's the rest of the world against England, although due to the corona travel restrictions, a lot of the rest of the world are Englishmen with grandparents that went on holiday in Switzerland once. But it's still lovely to have them as part of the team!"

Lorraine airs on weekdays at 9am on ITV.
