Kanye West says he'll be 'homeless' in year as he turns houses into churches

Kanye West has predicted that he will be ‘homeless’ in a year as he turns his homes into churches.

The Praise God rapper, 44, has racked up properties all over the world during his successful career – including his much publicized ranch in Wyoming.

However, in a new chat, he explained that he wants to convert these into churches, similar to an ‘artist commune’.

Speaking in a candid interview with 032c, via NME, Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband said: ‘We are under capitalist rule, and it’s killing us.

‘It’s time to change that.’

Sharing his plans, the dad-of-four continued: ‘I’m going to be homeless in a year. I’m going to turn all the homes I own into churches. We’re making this orphanage, and it will be a place where anyone can go.

‘It should be like an artist commune. Food should always be available.’

Ye turned his attention to ending homelessness in LA, and met with LA Mission CEO Reverend Troy Vaughn last month when he dropped off 1,000 meals to the organization.

According to TMZ, the Grammy Award-winner is thought to have ‘laid out four ways he can help the homeless’ after visiting the Skid Row area of the city.

As well as this, he is reportedly planning to feed the homeless population by establishing a working relationship with organizations across LA, and will be using his own companies to help provide education, housing and jobs for those on the streets.

The Donda star is also hoping to use his hugely popular Sunday Service performances to inspire and uplift the homeless community.

He will also be partnering with other outreach groups so that together they can eliminate homelessness.

Kanye had visited Skid Row ahead of Thanksgiving, with a source telling Page Six: ‘He had never been there and wanted to see everything going on.

‘He talked about saving the world and how he had all these ideas to work with LA Mission.’
