Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Pete Davidson look cosy as they match in black for event

Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Pete Davidson looked very comfortable together as they were pictured dressed in matching black attending an event on Sunday night.

The pair were seen sitting beside each other at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC where the 23rd annual Mark Twain Prize For American Humor ceremony was being held in honour of US comedian Jon Stewart.

Kim, Pete and several other celebrity guests watched the 59 year old as he received the Mark Twain Prize for Lifetime Achievement in humour, which has previously been won by such comedic icons as Richard Pryor and Dave Chappelle most recently in 2019.

Kim and Pete looked ever the unified couple as they were seen dressed in sync wearing all-black ensembles as they sat next to each other.

Looking her signature sleek and stylish self, Kim wore a black shimmery scale-effect gown with long sleeves and a bateau neckline that hugged her famous hourglass figure and had her dark locks pulled up into a high ponytail.

Pete meanwhile looked dapper in a black blazer, with a black T-shirt worn underneath and tailored trousers.

This outing from the pair comes two weeks after they made their first public appearance together at the premiere of the new Kardashians series on Hulu in Los Angeles as Pete came to support girlfriend Kim.

The couple looked content with each other then as they arrived at the event hand-in-hand in front of awaiting cameras.

It appears that Kim and Pete have become a lot more comfortable showcasing their relationship publicly after months of private visits back and forth across the US to their respective homes on the West and East Coast.

The pair have been dating since October last year after getting close during Kim’s first time hosting Saturday Night Live in New York City that same month, preparation of which was all caught on camera for her new reality show with her family.

Discussing whether or not Pete would star on the new Kardashians series, Kim told Variety last month: “I have not filmed with him. And I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does.

“But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away.”
