Maluma Reveals What MTV VMAs Told Him He Couldn’t Do During His Performance

Maluma is performing at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards in just a few hours, and he’s revealing what he was told he could not do during the set.

“I wanted to get to the performance riding a bull, and they told me that I couldn’t do it because of the coronavirus,” Maluma told the New York Post. “I wanted to bring, like, 20 dancers, and we couldn’t. I wanted to bring my whole tech team, but I couldn’t. It’s been kind of difficult because I had so many ideas to do in the show. We cannot become too creative, but I understand that these times are difficult.”

The 2020 MTV VMAs are the first live awards show to take place since the COVID-19 pandemic began and strict rules are in place to keep everyone safe.

Find out who else will be performing at the VMAs this year! Stay tuned with Just Jared tonight as we will be live blogging the show.
