Miley Cyrus Shows Off Hair Transformation, Embraces Her Brunette Roots

The ‘Flowers’ hitmaker unveils her latest makeover when attending The Daily Front Row’s Seventh Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards to present her stylist with a kudo.

AceShowbizMiley Cyrus has given herself another hair makeover. When making an appearance at The Daily Front Row’s Seventh Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards, the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker unveiled that she has gone back to her brunette roots by ditching her blonde hair.

Embracing more of her roots, the 30-year-old transformed her platinum-blonde hairstyle, which had bits of dark brown strands, into a more natural brunette look. Still, she preserved a few blonde highlights in her long wavy hair that she put on full display when coming to the Sunday, April 23 event.

Miley rocked the new hairdo as she came to the event to present her stylist Bradley Kenneth with the Music Stylist of the Year Award. “It’s my honor to model his genius,” she said. “When I look in the mirror and Bradley’s vision is looking back at me, I can’t help but say to myself, ‘B***h, you look sickening.’ ” She went on to add, “And this is daily.”

On the occasion, the “Party in the U.S.A.” songstress stunned in an all-black ensemble. She opted for a Versace corset top with plunging neckline. She paired the top with a sleek pencil leather skirt and a pair of long leather opera gloves. She completed the look with a pair of pointed-toe heels.

The ex-wife of Liam Hemsworth had given a hint about her hair transformation months before she debuted her new ‘do. At the end of 2022, she revealed that she had planned to tint her hair dark before hosting the New Year’s Eve special with Dolly Parton. However, she canceled her plan after discussing it with the country legend.

“I’ve never seen Dolly actually scared before,” Miley said jokingly on the “Today” show. “She acted like I told her the worst news you could imagine. She clutched her pearls, gasped, and went back and she goes, ‘You can’t do that. You are me.’ So I will be blonde.”

In the months that followed, Miley ended up dyeing the bottom layers of her hair with a darker color. The move gave the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus a more two-toned look.
