Muse Share Title Track From Upcoming Album Will Of The People

Muse recently shared the title track from their upcoming album, Will Of The People, and its dramatic music video, directed by Tom Teller.

“Will Of The People’ is [a] fictional story set in a fictional metaverse on a fictional planet ruled by a fictional authoritarian state run by a fictional algorithm manifested by a fictional data centre running a fictional bank printing a fictional currency controlling a fictional population occupying a fictional city containing a fictional apartment where a fictional man woke up one day and thought ‘f**k this,'” Muse lead singer Matt Bellamy said in a statement.

Will Of The People, the ninth studio album by Muse, will be released on August 26 via Warner Records.

The English rock band had already shared two songs from the album – “Compliance” and chart-topping “Won’t Stand Down.”

Muse have also announced a brief tour covering North America and Europe, kicking off in Los Angeles on October 4.
