Stacey Solomon told fans why she has decided to go on maternity leave earlier than when she was pregnant with Rex. The Loose Women panellist is expecting her fourth baby, her second with Joe Swash, which is due in roughly eight weeks.

The 31-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of her kissing two-year-old son Rex to announce her departure from the show.

Stacey proudly held onto her youngest son as her blossoming bump could be seen.

In view of her 4.6 million followers, she wrote: “It’s my last day on Loose Women today before I stop for maternity.

“I decided to stop slightly earlier this time than with Rex because the last time I had my last show I have birth the next day.

“And I must say I wasn’t ready at all.

“How are you this morning I hope whatever you’re doing you have a lovely day. Happy Friday.”

Stacey has been giving fans an insight into her pregnancy process on Instagram since announcing her happy news last year.

She and Joe already share two-year-old son Rex together, while she also has two older sons with ex partners.

Her husband-to-be is also a dad to a teenage son named Harry.
