Strictlys Neil Jones, 40, thanks Love Island boys for ignoring girlfriend Chyna, 24

Strictly star Neil Jones has thanked the boys of Love Island for “ignoring” his new girlfriend Chyna Mills.

Dance pro Neil, 40, has been dating Love Island star Chyna since shortly after she left the reality show this summer, sharing a sweet post for her as she celebrated her 24th birthday.

Sharing a smitten selfie to Instagram, Neil can be seen kissing Chyna on the cheek as the couple are dressed up for an evening out.

In the caption, Neil wrote: “Happy Birthday @chymills_ for the short time I’ve known you I have loved every moment, those LI boys losses are definitely my gain and I can’t wait for the world to see what you can do.

Alluding to Chyna’s birthday celebrations, Neil added: “I know you are having the greatest day because I organised it. love you. #birthday”.

On her own Instagram, Chyna spoke about how “overwhelmed” she was on her special day.

Sharing a photo of herself in a black corset dress, Chyna wrote: “24. Today has just been such an amazing day! I didn’t think anyone could top the day I was born but @mr_njonesofficial really did.

“I’ve been so overwhelmed with everyone’s kind messages and birthday wishes & I’m most grateful & thankful. Love you all.”

In the comments, Neil added: “You deserve nothing less”, with a kissy face.

Chyna and Neil took their relationship public in August, taking a romantic trip to Paris as they revealed their romance.

They had previously sent romance rumours flying when they were spotted holding hands at this year’s Reality TV awards.

The pair’s romance comes after Neil, who was married to Strictly co-star Katya Jones for six years, talked about enjoying his life as a bachelor following his split from Sienna Hollen, a former Miss Romania winner.

"I'm happy with myself. I'm doing a lot of things I like doing. I'm single, I'm just enjoying my life," he said.

Neil and his ex Katya have remained close since announcing their decision to part ways in September 2019.

In a statement issued at the time, the couple wrote: “Hi everyone, as our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news."

After confirming their decision to split they then explained: "We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends.”
