The Crown star Emma Corrin, 25, has left her 547,000 fans baffled after sharing a “queer” post on her Instagram today, featuring her in a wedding dress. The actress received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Princess Diana in the fourth season of Netflix hit The Crown, which saw her win a Golden Globe for Best Television Actress in a Drama Series.
Ur fave queer bride
The star sparked confusion amongst fans when she posted a picture of herself dressed as a bride for Pop magazine, which showed her wearing a slinky satin wedding dress and veil.
Emma simply captioned the picture: “ur fave queer bride.”(sic)
The star looked head-on into the camera and posed with her arms tightly crossed.
When contacted by Express.co.uk, representatives for Emma declined to comment on the meaning behind the post.
Since she shot to fame as Princess Diana on Netflix Original series The Crown, the star has remained tight-lipped about her relationships.
However, five months ago Stella magazine quizzed the star on her love life.
When asked whether there was a “boyfriend on the scene,” Emma gave a cryptic response.
She replied: “I’d rather navigate this on my own. It’s nicer to feel like I’m taking care of me.”
Following her starring role in the Netflix series, the actress went on to win a Golden Globe for her performance as Princess Diana.
Fans of the star were quick to voice their confusion at Emma’s cryptic photo caption in the comments below.
One wrote: ” Q- WHAT!” (sic)
Another penned: “The caption help” (sic)
While a third confused fan playfully wrote: “I wanna catch your bouquet”
Another social media user added:”Caption speaks facts.”

Earlier this year it was confirmed that the actress will be starring opposite former One Direction singer Harry Styles, 27, in the adaptation of Bethan Roberts’ novel My Policeman.
The movie is set in Brighton in the late 50s and follows a love triangle between a policeman, school teacher and museum curator.
Pop sensation Harry is set to play the police officer who is romantically linked to Marion (Emma).
Despite being gay, he decides to marry the teacher due to social pressures of the era, but soon embarks on an affair with a curator, played by David Dawson.
Last month the star broke her silence on being replaced by Elizabeth Debicki in the fifth series of the Netflix hit about the royal family.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, Emma said: “I really do [feel sad] but I think I have made my peace with letting Diana go.
“I was so lucky to take her on a journey from 16 to 28 and it was an incredible arc.
She added: “It feels bookended where we left her at the end of season four.”
