Jenny Ryan, 39, is known for her alter-ego The Vixen’s flaming red hair on ITV’s The Chase and spin-off show Beat The Chasers, but she seems to be getting fed up of fans asking her if she wears a wig on TV. She has previously spoken out about her locks being being 100% natural, but that hasn’t stopped some people from continuing to question her about it.

They’re at it again!

The Bolton lass sparked queries over her famous TV hairstyle after she tweeted in support of her football team, the Bolton Wonderers, who were playing a fixture on Saturday [8 May].

She penned alongside a stunning snap of herself fresh-faced: “It’s been a long season… but finally WE ARE GOING UP! #BWFC.”

Some fans were taken aback by her appearance, as The Vixen’s hair appeared to be a much lighter shade of red than they’re used to seeing in front of the cameras, which also sported hints of blonde.

One fan in particular pressed Jenny about her looks, remaining adamant she wears wigs on the show.

“Why do you wear wigs on @ITVChase,” they asked, to which she seemed to sigh.

“THEY’RE AT IT AGAIN!” she reposted the tweet on her page, seemingly referring to previous accusations her hair wasn’t real.

On her website FAQ’s, Jenny states that her hair is all natural, which is usually glamorously swept up for TV purposes.

“My hair is 100% real,” her website reads, “And growing from my own head!”

Others complimented on her natural beauty, with one writing: “Congratulations! Oh my god though sorry to be superficial but your real hair is gorgeous.”

Another agreed: “I agree with you it’s gorgeous her hair.”

Others wondered whether she would be sticking to the toned down red: “What happened to the red hair??” one seemed puzzled.

Jenny debuted her new lighter hair colour last month, which saw her go from dark auburn to strawberry blonde.

Taking to Instagram, thousands hailed her new barnet, with one writing: “Woah you look b****y phenomenal Jenny! Loving the hair.”

Someone else said: “Your hair looks good Jenny.”

“Amazing! Really suits you!!” complimented a third.

The Chase continues today at 5pm.
