GB News presenter Mercy Muroki addressed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and claimed that the couple are “everywhere”. Her comments come after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently addressed the crisis taking place in Afghanistan in a statement.
The GB News host suggested that the couple put their “two cents” into everything as she discussed the issue around privacy.
Mercy made reference to Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey which aired in March.
It comes as the couple step down from their royal duties and moved to the United States.
She later claimed that she is “forced to listen to their opinions”.
The GB News presenter later addressed the Sussexes also doing their Archewell podcast and referenced Meghan’s children’s book, The Bench,
“Quite frankly, I’m wholeheartedly, unreservedly and uninterested in what they have to say about anything,” Mercy stated.
“I simply cannot summon a damn to give but I’m forced to listen to their opinions because they are literally inescapable.”
She added: “Meghan and Harry say they want some privacy and some space but I’m starting to feel like it’s us who need a bit of privacy and space from them.”
Mercy’s comments sparked division on social media as people addressed her remarks.
One wrote: “Literally forced to listen to them? Don’t be ridiculous. I assume you have the ability to operate a remote control/off switch or can turn a page.”
Another remarked: “Someone should probably tell this person that she is free to choose what she watches on Netflix, which podcasts she listens to.”
“@MercyMuroki you seem to be the one talking about them,” a third wrote.

Mercy’s comments come after her colleague Simon McCoy was shut down by his Great British Breakfast co-host Kirsty Gallacher on Thursday’s show.
The former BBC broadcaster Simon was light-heartedly scolded by his co-star over his response to Prince Harry and Meghan’s Afghanistan statement the day before.
The presenter had burst out laughing after the couple stated they had been “left speechless” by the crisis.
“Sorry, only they would break their silence to tell us they are speechless,” Simon remarked.
“Anyway, in a joint statement the couple urged people to support organisations carrying out critical work,” Kirsty continued.
“Well, Prince Harry served two tours in the British Armed Forces fighting against the Taliban.”
