London-based labels Heresy and Stepney Workers Club have come together to create a special, limited-edition version of S.W.C.’s Dellow shoe.
S.W.C. is having a stellar run as of late, having collaborated with the likes of Endless Joy also on a Dellow, while Heresy continues to influence the world with its mythical and folklore understandings following collaborations with Goodhood and more. Now, the two combine on the Dellow, delivering a canvas sneaker in black with white details for both men and women.
The Heresy x Stepney Workers Club Dellow features embroidered and collaborative details all around. For example, S.W.C.’s signature handshake motif — which signifies the values, liberal thinking, and inclusive culture of traditional workers sports clubs — now appears alongside Heresy branding on the heel’s license plate and tongue tab.
Heresy’s involvement becomes even more apparent as we start to see more playful elements appear around the shoe. For example, a sun is embroidered onto the mid-panels, the words “Shin” and “Kicker” appear on the right and left foot respectively, while more suns decorate the heel tab.
Rounding out the pair is its insoles, which are branded with the collaborators’ monikers on the right and left side. The Heresy x Stepney Workers Club Dellow is set to drop on November 19 on Stepney Workers Club’s website and at retailers such as 43einhalb for €124.95 EUR (approx. $148 USD).
