A WOMAN was left horrified after she asked her tattoo artist for a drawing of books and flowers and was left with a mess on her arm.
The stunning drawing was meant to celebrate her book for literature.
Holly Holliday, from Alabama, went to her usual artist for a brand new tattoo.
She wrote on social media: "I’m so angry, I’ve cried so much.
"I trusted this artist, he’s done great work in the past for me…. My trust is now ruined and so is my arm."
She first showed how she wanted a fine line tattoo of a stack of books decorated with flowers. Sparkles glistened around the drawing beautifully.
Instead, she was left with a child-like drawing of lines that didn't resemble her original idea.
There was no shading in the tattoo and the books could not be made out at all.

Those who didn't know what it was meant to be would not be able to decipher it.
Out of respect, she refused to name the artist or the shop that had butchered her tattoo.
After the video went viral, many took to the comment section to express their horror for her.
One person wrote: "Ok, now we have to see what other works he did for you.
"Because this just looks like a child got ahold of the tattoo gun."
A second one asked: "No offense though but how did you allow him to tattoo that much on you.
"If the tattoo is in my line of line of vision, you bet your a** I'm looking."
And a third said: "That is so unfortunate but fortunately, there's a lot of open space and looks like it can be fixed!"
Following her posting the video, she shared pictures of the other pieces he had worked on her and they seemed perfectly normal.
She said: "The artist hasn't failed me before, he's never done me wrong so I had every reason in the world to believe this would be a good tattoo."
Currently, Holliday has been letting the butchered tattoo heal in order to cover it up with another artist.
