Mum’s cleaning hack shows how to get filthy curtains sparkling white using a £3 Wilko's product & it required NO work

A MUM has shared the simple way she managed to get her filthy curtains sparkling again, and it required virtually no effort.

She shared a snap of her frilly net curtains online, which had seen better days.

The material was faded and grimy, but rather than chucking them out she decided to use a £3 cleaning product she had lying around.

The mum soaked the curtains in Napisan, which costs just £3 at Wilko’s, and the difference is incredible

She shared her tip alongside before-and-after snaps to Facebook group Mums Who Clean, saying: “Best way to clean this without ruining it!

“I don’t know how old it is but it is disgusting and was like this when we moved into our rental.

“I cannot stand it but I’m so scared I’ll destroy it while trying to clean it!

“It should be WHITE.

“Thank you all for your help!

“Here is the after pictures.”

And explaining her exact methodology, she added: “I just soaked in nappy sand [Napisan] over night then rinsed this morning and hung back up.”
