It’s over for Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers.
The couple, who wed in 2010, have split up, they announced in a joint statement on Friday.
“Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents. It has been an incredible journey, but together, we’ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage,” they wrote in a statement released on both of their Instagram accounts. “As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority.”
They added, “We understand this news lends itself to public dialogue, but in the interest of our children and our family, we’re asking for privacy, compassion and love during this time.”
The “Social Network” star, 33, and the TV host, 37, are the parents of two children: 5-year-old daughter Harper and 3-year-old son Ford.
Hammer and Chambers met via a mutual friend who had invited Chambers to an “adventure day” Hammer had planned for his friends. Unfortunately, she had a boyfriend at the time. She later broke up with him and she and Hammer began dating in 2008.
