Black Friday power tool deals 2021: What to expect this November

BLACK Friday is arguably the most eagerly-awaited shopping event of the year, and it's the perfect opportunity to upgrade your power tools.

In recent years, Black Friday has expanded in popularity, and almost every store participates in the sales by the time the big day arrives.

It's always best to go into Black Friday with a plan, though, because the amount of deals available can be overwhelming. You also shouldn't buy something just because it's on sale.

However, we've put together this page and we will be updating it with all the best power tools bargains we can find. We recommend bookmarking it, as we'll be continuously updating it with the latest deals and discounts!

*Remember, just because an item is in the sale, it doesn't mean you can't find the same product, or similar, elsewhere. Always shop around to make sure you're getting the best price.

When is Black Friday 2021?

Black Friday falls on the day after the American Thanksgiving holiday each year. In 2021, it will be on Friday November 26.

However, you won't have to wait until then to start shopping the bargains, as many retailers start discounting their products two weeks before the actual day. That's why it's always best to be prepared and know exactly what you want to buy before the day arrives.

When is Cyber Monday 2021?

Cyber Monday is on Monday November 29 this year, following Black Friday and the weekend known as Cyber Weekend. Most retailers who take part in Black Friday continue deals through to Cyber Monday.

Is Black Friday a good time to buy power tools?

Yes, it's potentially the best time to buy new power tools.

Tools will almost definitely be heavily discounted, with Amazon, B&Q, Screwfit and ITS among the companies offering discounts.

We expect that there will be a wide range of offers available on Cyber Monday too, with some stores likely to offer up to 50% off products throughout the whole weekend.

What to expect from power tool retailers in the Black Friday 2021 sales

Based on last year's sales, we're expecting a slew of retailers to offer some great deals this November.

In 2020, retail juggernaut Amazon offered up to 40% off a range of power tools, with some discounts worth hundreds of pounds. Special emphasis was put on tools from Bosch and Dremel. We'd expect similar scenes this year.

B&Q, whose name is almost synonymous with tools, offered less dramatic— but still significant — sales across its site, with plenty of power tools discounted by £20 or £30. Sure, they're not life changing discounts, but it's enough for a few extra pints in the pub after a long day of DIY.

We'd expect Halfords to offer similar levels of discount to B&Q, with the best discounts reserved for its well-rated line of Halfords-br`anded tools. If last year is anything to go by, we'd also expect it to offer an e-voucher to customers whose spending crosses a certain threshold — last year it was £50.

Which retailer will have the best Black Friday power tools deals?

We're sorry to all the other retailers, but we're expecting Amazon to have the best power tool deals this year. Last year saw a huge range of discounts, with many saving shoppers hundreds of pounds.

However, we're also banking on traditional retailers like B&Q and Halfords offering great deals, and they have the advantage of having physical stores you can visit in case you need help choosing.
