Fave! It’s no secret that Britney Spears is a fan of cropped peasant blouses. But there’s one in particular she loves above them all.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, September 9, the 38-year-old star let fans in on her favorite piece. “I am slightly obsessed with this shirt I got in Morocco,” she wrote in the accompanying caption. “It is hand-stitched 🧵 !!!!” In the image, the blonde beauty models the beige embroidered cropped top with her hands in the belt loops of her low-rise khaki shorts.
Britney Spears’ Sizzling Swim Style Through the Years
While the cut and style are similar to others she owns, the “Toxic” singer notes that there’s a bit of a difference between this one and her usual go-tos. “The colors are muted … I normally like bright colors but don’t necessarily wear bright colors !!!!”
She continued, “Anyhow … if you have ever seen the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic …. you’d get a better understanding of why it is so hard to get rid of certain pieces of clothing !!!!”
Britney Spears’ Mental Health Battle and Ongoing Conservatorship Drama Explained
About a month ago the ‘90s pop icon defended her extensive blouse collection. On Thursday, August 13, she shared a video via Instagram showcasing an off-the-shoulder floral blue shirt. The clip was directed towards Josh Ostrovsky, or as he’s more commonly known, The Fat Jewish. “This little clip is a message for @thefatjewish 😳😂🤷♀️😂,” she wrote in the accompanying caption. “Yes I do own a peasant midriff top for every day of the week.”
As much as we loved the playful clap back, there’s no sign of Ostrovsky teasing the performer. But we do know that the social media star has expressed nothing but admiration for Spears over the years, so the whole thing was likely all in good fun.
