An influencer claimed that she's had at least 29 plastic surgeries to transform herself into a 'real-life' Barbie.
Tatiana Murillo, who is known as 'The Colombian Barbie', suffered from a bad bout of bullying while she was at school. After she received relentless cruel remarks about her looks, she decided to dramatically alter her appearance.
The social media model, from Colombian town Caicedo, explained that the playground trolls would pick apart everything about her looks and even her family background. This lead her to allegedly undergo her first procedure when she was just 11-years-old.

"In my town, where the girls were very pretty, they called them Barbies," Tatiana candidly said, as quoted by El Tiempo. "So, they bullied me for that, for my appearance, for my skin colour. Even because of my social class, because my parents have always been farmers."
Despite never being fond of the popular plastic doll, Tatiana has been altering her looks to become the 'real-life' version of the Barbie since a young age. She said that she got her first nose job at 11. That was just the start of a very long journey of cosmetic surgeries for Tatiana as she's had all sorts of procedures done – including liposuction, lip augmentation and breast implants.
Earlier this year, the model – who has over 1million collective followers on TikTok and Instagram – even underwent a procedure to remove her eyelashes and has long used treatments to lighten her skin. She refers to herself as a 'lab rat', the real-life Barbie continued: "My skin has turned red, peeled, it has hurt and everything has happened to me.

"That's why I tell you that I am a laboratory rat, because this treatment is experimental, although it has given me very good results, fortunately.
"I believed the story of becoming that doll and becoming unique in Colombia because of that. It was like a kind of revenge against all those who bullied me as a child. From a young age I told myself: 'My revenge will be success.' And I have achieved it."
Although she believes to have achieved revenge through success, not everyone has been so supportive about Tatiana's extreme views on appearance. In 2022, the model received backlash as she said she gifted her daughter a rhinoplasty for her 12th birthday.
At the time, the real-life Barbie said: "She already fulfilled one of her dreams, which was a rhinoplasty. I want to tell my followers that yes, it is possible, with certain characteristics that Sophie obviously met, yes you can operate on minors."
