Social media star Bree Lenehan has shared photos of her cellulite and 'real' stomach as she told fans that "perfection is an illusion".

The Australian influencer, who boasts 612,000 followers on Instagram, is known for her body positive posts.

And her latest was no different as the brunette beauty shared side-by-side lingerie photos.

The first snaps saw Bree pose one one side with her hip out and in good lighting to give her the illusion of toned abs. This was compared to a snap of herself relaxing.

While in another photo, the stunner was seen breathing in as she sat down, compared to showing off her true stomach and cellulite while wearing the floral underwear.

Bree then shared more similar snaps as she wore a simple white underwear set as she proved how different poses made her body look different.

Captioning the snaps, she wrote: "Me when I pose, angle my body a certain way & hike my bottoms up: Me when I just relax & stand up straight.

"If you only accept your body when it looks a certain way, that’s not self love, that’s self objectification.

"It’s so easy for us to judge ourselves against others, but it’s so important to remember that comparing: yourself to others, your posed body to your relaxed body.

"Your achievements, job, productivity, every day life compared to someone else’s online highlight reel is TORTURE… & hardly fair."

She continued: "Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love social media — but there’s no denying that most share their best life & best versions of themselves on here, so it makes sense that we’ll find ourselves comparing ourselves & our lives while scrolling through.

"Perfection is an illusion – we only see what someone wants us to see. The photos that are posted are only 1% of someone’s life. There are 24 hours in each day, and we usually only see a few minutes of someone’s life online. (Myself included)

"Bad body image days happen to us all — so if you think weight loss or a makeover is going to magically fix that, you’re in for a shock, finding peace with your body & appearance happens when you start working from the inside out."

The influencer concluded the post by saying: "Beauty is subjective – you might not see your beauty, but you also don’t see the way your eyes light up at the sight of puppies or sunsets, so how can you really ever know your true beauty when you’ve only ever seen yourself in a mirror or photos?"

Fans were loving the honest post, with it racking up more than 41,000 likes.

One wrote: "Thank you for this reminder. It's easy to see our bodies through the sometimes warped lens of what we 'should' look like and what's 'attractive'.

While another added: "I love this!! Keep it up girl, you rock!!!!"

A third chimed in: "You always make me feel so much better, ilysm beautiful."

The post comes after Bree recently exposed her 'flaws' in a bikini as she showed how body your body can change in seconds.
