Inside Love Islands Gemma Owen’s £4m Chester mansion where she lives with dad Michael

Gemma Owen has jetted off to Mallorca to take part in this year's Love Island, but she's yet to reveal to her fellow Islanders that she's the daughter of former professional footballer Michael Owen.

The 19 year old, who has already caused a stir in the iconic villa, has so far kept her famous father's identity under wraps, with her co-stars being unaware that England football ace Michael, 42, is her dad.

Gemma has mentioned that she lives in Chester and surprised her original partner Liam Llewellyn by revealing that she has 12 horses at home, prompting him to ask about the size of her family home.

The brunette beauty lives in a sprawling £4 million mansion in the Welsh countryside, along with her mum Louise and her two younger sisters, Emily, 14, and Jessica, 12, and brother James, 16.

The family previously opened up the doors to their incredible home for ITV show Through The Keyhole, where they let Keith Lemon take a tour of the grand property.

The Owens purchased the property back in 2001 and have lived there ever since, and it comes as no surprise that it's extremely luxurious.

The sprawling Grade-II-listed manor is set among 42 acres in the countryside, with plenty of room for Gemma and mum Louise's horses.

The family have a spacious living room which features sleek laminate flooring and large brown leather sofas, as well as light brown wall panels and a series of huge windows.

A matching brown coffee table is located in the centre of the space, and various small ornaments and lamps have been dotted about.

Further along is the family's huge kitchen, which has a similar colour scheme to the lounge. The space has wooden cupboards and white and black tiles, along with sleek marble work surfaces and a silver fridge.

A marble island sits in the middle of the room, with three grey dining chairs lined up at one end and a bouquet of white flowers in the centre.

The kitchen also doubles up as a dining room and at the far end a long wooden table can be seen surrounded by eight black leather chairs.

The Owens' family mansion even features an indoor swimming pool along with a hot tub, and the family have access to their own private home gym.

Despite Michael and his family being thrust into the spotlight due to Gemma's Love Island stint, the former footballer is yet to address his daughter's appearance on the ITV2 show.

He jetted off to Germany ahead of the show's launch on Monday 6 June, but while appearing on Channel 4 for the Live UEFA Nations League, he was left red-face when asked about his daughter's reality TV venture.

At the beginning of their Nations League fixture, presenter Jules Breach said: "The father of Love Island’s Gemma Owen, Michael Owen here with us, a big night for the Owens last night, Michael, how are you feeling today?"

To which Michael put his hands over his face before replying: "Jules, I came all the way to Germany to try and avoid all that back at home, but you've brought it up straight away."

He added: "I am feeling alright thank you. This is taking my mind off it so don’t bring it back up."
