I've never had a girlfriend – so where am I going wrong?

DEAR DEIDRE: I’VE never had a girlfriend and I don’t know where I’m going wrong.

I’m 33 and people say I’m a nice guy. While I’m not Brad Pitt, I’m not bad looking.

Unlike many men, I’m not too fussy. Appearance isn’t the most important thing, and I’m open to meeting a woman aged from 25 to 65.

All I ask is that she likes having fun and enjoys travelling – that’s my passion.

Now things have opened up, we could have a great time together.

Dating apps don’t work and women never seem to be interested – I just get friend-zoned.

Where can I meet an adventurous young woman?

DEIDRE SAYS: Maybe you’re not fussy enough. A woman can tell if a man seems desperate for a woman – rather than liking her for herself.

If travelling is your hobby, join social media groups and clubs where others share the same interest.

Make friends with women first, and a relationship should develop. My support pack Finding The Right Partner For You will help.
