Mario Falcone has shared his fears for a second child after opening up on sleep deprivation with his two year old son Parker Jax.
The 33 year old former TOWIE star, who recently shared a heartwarming tribute to his fiancée Becky Miesner as the couple celebrated their five-year anniversary, revealed how baby number two is 'in the process' but the prospect of even less sleep 'scares' him.
Mario, who has also launched his trainer brand, Belvotti Milano, after the business idea was born in lockdown, spoke exclusively to OK! about welcoming a second baby into the family and described how he would be 'a lot more prepared this time'.
The dad-of-one, who has candidly opened up about the lack of sleep in their household with two year old Parker, said baby number two is still on the cards.
Mario said: "Of course it is in the process at the moment but I would be a lot more prepared for baby number two this time.
"In the first six months with Parker we didn’t sleep so if you add that to the lack of sleep we are already having, I won’t lie, that scares me a lot.
"But there is nothing to say that the second child won’t sleep better than Parker did in the first six months."
However the brother of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winner Giovanna Fletcher revealed how Parker is not keen on the idea of becoming an older brother after previously wanting a little sister.
Mario revealed how the couple would potentially like to find out the gender so Parker, who he described as a 'really happy little boy', can 'get excited' about his new little sibling.
The former reality star said: "When we started trying we said to Parker, 'would you like a little brother or a sister?', and he said a little sister and he kept saying little sister every single time.
"Now, I think he is understanding that if he has a little brother or sister he won’t be the only one anymore! If I ask him now he is like: 'No, don’t like it, neither!'
"I think it is nice that if we did find out he can get excited about it and he will know if he is having a little brother or sister instead of him building something up in his head and being disappointed and then having a resentment off the back of that."
Speaking about Parker's bedtime routine, Mario said: "He will start in his bed but even that will be a procedure now because he will try every single delay tactic in the book. I always try and remind him that I have read the book he is reading and I know exactly what he is doing!
"I lie with him until he falls asleep and then I sneak downstairs to try and get some work done before Becky and I go to bed but sometimes we hear him coming to our room.
"Sometimes I wake up and he is there next to me which is fine, I don’t mind if he comes into our room and goes to sleep, it is just when he comes into our room and he fancies a chat!
"He is like, ‘daddy what are you doing?’ Daddy are you ok?’, and he starts stroking my face and I am like: 'Mate, it’s 2 o'clock just go to sleep!'"
Meanwhile Mario also revealed that it is 'hard' to strike the 'balance' between parenthood and investing time in his new business.
Speaking about his father-son bond with Parker, Mario said: "I take him to a lot of stuff with me. That is the thing when it is your own company, you can be like: ‘I am bringing my son with me’.
"I think it is quite nice for him to see [the business] and be around it because part of the reason I started the brand was because of him. It was to give him something in the future that he can carry on."
He added: "The balance is hard but I try and make sure I give him my time."
