DEAR DEIDRE: THINGS are OK with my wife while we work together running a packaging business – but when we get home we seem to argue over everything and nothing.
We have been married for over ten years. Our sex life has all but ceased. This cannot be right when she is only 33 and I am 36.
She sleeps in our bedroom, while I sleep in the spare room. There is no physical contact or affection between us but we cannot afford for one of us to move out.
I would much rather we resolved the issues. I worry she may have met someone else, except I cannot imagine when she would have found time. I so want my wife and lover back.
DEIDRE SAYS: Tell her you are worried the two of you have drifted apart. Both write down the three most frustrating aspects of your life at present – without criticising or blaming one another – and see if you can sort any of them.
Could you restructure some of your work to give you a breather from one another? My e-leaflet Your Relationship MOT should help.
