Mums have been thrilled by the discount.

One shared her joy to Facebook, where she said: “I thought I would share this for anyone who didn’t know..

“If your little one had a birthday in lockdown you can go to build a bear and get a birthday bear for the same price as your child’s age!”

She continued: “My daughters cost me just £1 instead of £14! (I chose to add the T-shirt and happy birthday tune inside for extra but you don’t have to but it still cost just £8 all in with those extras).

“There are 2 different types of bear to choose from.

“I thought I’d share as it’s a great deal and a cute keepsake with memories behind it!”

Thousands of mums and dads were excited by the deal.
