Pregnant Shelby Tribble keeps busy by putting up her Christmas tree as she waits to give birth

Shelby Tribble is overdue and eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first child with her fiancé Sam Mucklow.

So to keep busy the pregnant TOWIE star got into the Christmas spirit early, like many other celebs before her, by putting up the tree in the couple's new home.

The soon to be mum shared a look at her decorations all laid out neatly and ready to go on the Christmas tree before sharing her impressive results.

"Yes it's going up and I don't care if it's too early," Shelby wrote as she panned around her living room strewn with all sorts of festive decorations.

The reality star had chosen a traditional red theme for her tree, adorning the impressive fern with red velvet bows and an enormous one on top.

She'd also picked out silver and red baubles, red and white roses, and white reindeer head ornaments.

While Shelby and Sam wait for the birth of their baby boy, they've been getting their new home ready which they moved into a few weeks before her 9 November due date.

The couple have kept to a blue theme throughout their upstairs as Shelby recently shared a look inside the bedroom she shares with Sam in the same shade.

Shelby, 27, recently stood at the top of their grand in a baby pink dress as she penned in the caption: "Forever cuddling bump but I can’t wait to turn that into our baby boy."

The former Miss Great Britain, who is originally from Plymouth, also shared a glimpse inside the nursery that they have decorated for their son.

Shelby and Sam had kept things neutral for their son with accents of blue, choosing a white crib and a matching white Moses basket and changing table, with all the walls painted white and a light plush grey carpet.

And for those late night feeds, Shelby also has a furry covered chair to snuggle up to her son in.
