The Hello singer has actually addressed the meaning behind her tattoo in the past.

During her iconic cover interview with Vogue, Adele discussed her Saturn return.

She said: "Then I hit my Saturn return. It’s where I lost the plot.”

In astrology, a Saturn return is described as the planet returning to where it was in the sky when you were born, after fully orbiting the sun.

This process happens between every 27 and 29.5 years, so it's a major astrological coming-of-age moment.

Those of us born in the early 90s are experiencing theirs now – so if you're going through big changes this could be why.

Describing this time of her life, Adele continued: "When that comes, it can rock your life. It shakes you up a bit: Who am I? What do I want to do? What makes me truly happy? All those things.”

Opening up on her divorce and missing her son, Adele shared: "It's a process. You know, the process of a divorce, the process of being a single parent.

"The process of not seeing your child every single day wasn’t really a plan that I had when I became a mum."

She also said she started to work out after her anxiety attacks "paralysed" her.

"They paralysed me completely, and made me so confused because I wouldn't be able to have any control over my body," she explained.
