DEAR DEIDRE: I’VE discovered that my husband has hundreds of pictures of our female relatives on his laptop.
I’m so shocked, I don’t know what to do.

The other day I caught him acting suspiciously. He shut his laptop as soon as I came in.
I needed to find out what he was looking at so when he went to work, I used his password to let myself in.
I was expecting to find porn, but instead there were photos of his cousins, nieces and his sister-in-law.

I confronted him and he said he was sorry and would delete the pictures, but I can’t get this out of my head.
Although they weren’t nude pictures, I find it very disturbing.
We have been married for 20 years. He’s 41 and I’m 38.
DEIDRE SAYS: This is odd behaviour.
It’s not clear whether he was looking at these pictures in a sexual way.
Perhaps he was feeling unhappy or nostalgic and just wanted to look at people he feels close to.
Maybe he felt embarrassed, which is why he quickly shut his laptop.
You need to get to the bottom of this for your own peace of mind.
Talk to him again and ask him to be honest. My support pack Standing Up For Yourself will help.
