MESUT OZIL is unlikely to leave Arsenal in the summer and has already turned down a £1m-a-week offer from China, according to reports.

Football.London's Senior Football Reporter James Benge wrote: “Both Ozil and his agent have publicly said in recent days that he has no desire to leave Arsenal.

“There have been offers in the past – I’ve heard a Chinese club was prepared to offer him around £1million a week – but he is far too happy in London to seriously consider leaving.

“As we all know he is well paid to be at Arsenal, he loves the club and, particularly importantly, has built a home for himself in a beautiful part of London and loves life in the capital. It would take a tempting offer indeed for him to move.

“There was a time midway through the season when you sensed the limited game time he was getting and Emery’s doubt in him might have forced him away but there’s been an easing of tensions between the two.

“He might never be the guaranteed starter week in, week out that he was under Wenger but the likelihood is still that Ozil will be an Arsenal player at least for next season, if not beyond.”

STEVE BOULD could be set to leave Arsenal according to Football.London's Gunners correspondent Layth Yousif.

He wrote: “The first thing I’ll say is that I saw 90 per cent of his matches as an Arsenal player and he was one of the toughest central defenders I’ve ever seen play the game, not just for Arsenal.

“He should have earned a shedload of caps for England rather than the two he did gain, so his status as an Arsenal playing legend is not in doubt.

“What is in doubt is his Arsenal future.

“Simply because since previous boss Arsenal Wenger appointed him, he simply hasn’t helped the Gunners backline become anywhere near as solid as his experience and defensive nous should have made it.

“It’s been as disappointing as it has been mystifying.

“I’ve observed him on the training pitches of London Colney and during open training sessions the evening before a number of Arsenal games in the Europa League for a couple of years and to be brutally honest he doesn’t seem to add anything in terms of tactics, organisation or leadership.

“Which is a real shame as he’s a true Arsenal man.

“My sources within the club are telling me he may well be moved on at some stage soon. If that happens I don’t think too many fans will be too sorry…”
