TAKEIT EASY (4.05 Cheltenham)

Pam Sly has a nice hurdler on her hands in this five-year-old.

He came back from a long break to make his handicap debut at Huntingdon last month.

Battled on well to score with more in hand than the official winning margin of a length.

This is a stronger contest but it’s still early days and he could well be ahead of the handicapper.

Each way thief

FANION D’ESTRUVAL (1.50 Cheltenham)

Venetia Williams has a track record of doing well with French imports and she’s already got one win out of this five-year-old.

That came at Newbury this time last year in a good handicap at Newbury.

He then found a Grade 2 too much at Kempton at Christmas.

This is a drop in class for his comeback and he won’t be far away.

VINO ROYALE (3.00 Cheltenham)

David Cottin trains hot favourite Easysland in this cross-country chase but he has solid place claims with his second string.

He landed back-to-back wins in this class on the other side of the Channel before running well in a hot race last time out in September.

He stays well and Sam Twiston-Davies can steer him into third place.

Aside from these, SunSport resident tipster Templegate has picked a horse in each race today.
