Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James finds himself on top once again.
Per Marc Stein of the New York Times, James leads the NBA in jersey sales during the bubble. Second on the list is Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, followed by James’ teammate, Anthony Davis.
The rest of the top 10 consisted of Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, Milwaukee Bucks star an 2019 and 2020 MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant, Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard and Miami Heat guard Jimmy Butler.
The Lakers (James and Davis), Celtics (Tatum and Kemba Walker), Nets (Durant and Kyrie Irving) each had two players in the top 15.
The Lakers are also first in team merchandise, per Stein. They are followed by the Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Heat and Warriors.
After guiding the Lakers to the top seed in the Western Conference, James and Davis continued to pour it on in the postseason. Los Angeles lost just three games (one in each series) over the first three rounds to reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.
James will look to capture his fourth NBA championship ring when the Lakers take on the Miami Heat, his former team, in the finals. James won two rings with the Heat (2012 and 2013) and one with the Cleveland Cavaliers (2016).

If the Lakers win the series, they will tie the Boston Celtics for most NBA Championships with 17 apiece. If the Heat win, they’ll add another title to their 21st century dynasty that won three titles between 2006 and 2013.
This marks the first NBA Finals appearance for both Davis and Butler. But only one of them can win their first NBA Championship ring this season.
Following a season suspension that lasted nearly five months, the league resumed the 2019-20 campaign in the bubble city of Orlando, Florida on July 30. We’ll find out soon enough which team will come out on top in a season like no other.
