Neither fighter was knocked out in the exhibition match between Floyd Mayweather and celebrity YouTube star Logan Paul, but that hasn't stopped fans on the Internet for coming up with conspiracy theories.
Paul, on his most recent Instagram story, fired back.
"I'm seeing this narrative going around that there's one part in the fight when Floyd punched me and I kind of leaned on him a little bit and it looks like I kind of went limp," Paul said. "And people are trying to spin it and say that he knocked me out and caught me and kept me up to keep the fight going to the eighth round, stop trying to discredit what happened last night."
The fight, which was held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Sunday night, was not scored and thus no winner was declared. USA TODAY Sports, however, scored it 78-74, in favor of Mayweather.
"Make no mistake, he got a lot of good punches in," Paul continued. "There's a couple of photos, I didn't know my face could make that shape. But never rocked, never blacked out, never obviously got knocked out. He didn't hold me up. He tried to take me out and he couldn't. It was great."

The pay-per-view broadcast demand was so great that Showtime's servers temporarily crashed as interest surged. That prompted Mayweather to crack jokes during the post-match news conference.
In his Instagram story, Paul also teased a hint about a potential next bout.
"The one question that remains: where do I go from here?" Paul asked during the story.
The next screen was not a video, but a blank black image with white text that read: "no seriously who's next."
His story closed with another blank image with text, but this one had a message to his next opponent, whoever it may be.
"Late night thoughts, I've only gone the full rounds with all my opponents," Paul wrote. "My next fight I will knock my opponent out brutal & cold. I promise."
