He takes a fair drop in grade today which could help him figure over a trip and track that suits ideally.

Each-way Thief

EQUIDAE (3.45 Southwell)

Iain Jardine’s hope has dropped down to just 2lb higher than the mark that saw him win over course and distance four runs ago.

He has won or placed in half his runs at Southwell with his best form coming at this trip.

Another podium effort looks likely.

ROCHFORD (8.15 Chelmsford)

Hayley Turner takes the ride on this four-year-old who was in winning form at Kempton three runs ago.

That came over this trip and he wasn’t beaten far in a Wolverhampton handicap last time when not getting the run of the race.

This contest looks easier and he has every chance of making the frame.

Don't forget, SunSport tipster Templegate has given a verdict on every race on Friday.

12.45   San Juan

Big improver when scoring over course and distance last time.

1.15     Cheeky Az

Promise when third in a Kempton maiden last time out.

1.45     Morlaix

Bred to love this surface and capable of a lot better.

2.15     Requinto Dawn

Has shown best form over this course and distance.

2.45     Bill Cody

Easy winner here last time and this longer trip should help.

3.15     Bluella (treble)

Went close here latest and eyeshield looks a wise move.

3.45     PALAZZO (NAP)

Has landed four wins here including in fine style latest.

5.15     Out Of The East

Promise in maidens and good mark for handicap debut.

5.45     Shenu

Expensive buy who can improve on green debut effort.

6.15     Sergeant Major

Good fourth at Lingfield and longer trip should pay dividends.

6.45     Bayston Hill (nb)

Best form here and this distance is ideal too.

7.15     Kentucky Kingdom

Has shown best form over this course and distance.

7.45     Lady Alavesa

Back to form when winning at Kempton last time out.

8.15     Parknacilla

Finished well when second at Kempton latest.
