Tottenham fans around the world could not contain their emotions after Lucas Moura scored a last-gasp winning goal against Ajax in the Champions League semi-final. 

One Spurs fan in Malta went head-over-heels after the Brazilian scored his third goal in 41 minutes in Amsterdam to set up an all-English final against Liverpool on June 1. 

Timmy Agius went sliding across his living room floor, kicking his legs in the air before diving into his sofa.

The Tottenham supporter shouted into his sofa before quickly picking his phone up to search for flights to Madrid to watch the final.  

Lucas Moura even shed a tear in the aftermath of the game, hailing the goal as the finest moment of his career so far.

‘Of course it is the greatest night of my career,’ Moura said. ‘Three goals in the semi-final of the Champions League is unbelievable.

‘It is an emotional day. Football is amazing, it gives you this special moment.’

‘We needed to give everything and when I scored the first goal it gave us a new motivation and I always believed in the fight, I am very proud of my team-mates.

‘That is our game, the intensity, the aggressiveness – that is our game, we need to do it every game.

‘I am so happy, so proud, everyone deserves it – my team-mates, the staff, everyone is amazing.’
