Chas persuades a reluctant Faith in Emmerdale to carry on her chemotherapy

Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) bravely told Chas (Lucy Pargeter) that she didn’t want to continue chemotherapy treatment in Emmerdale.

The decision came because the chemo has been making Faith feel incredibly unwell, and she’s aware it will only buy her a small amount of extra time.

Tonight, once again, the reactions between Chas and Cain (Jeff Hordley) were the complete opposite.

For Cain, he told his mum that at the end of the day, it’s her decision and if she wants to stop the chemotherapy, everyone else just has to accept it.

For Chas, she couldn’t bare the thought of Faith giving up and decided to attend the meeting with Faith’s consultant at the hospital.

Faith attempted to get her point across, but Chas (who had a notebook in hand to jot down everything that was discussed) was so desperate for her mum to just try another round of chemo to see if that changes anything.

Back at the pub, Faith told Cain that she’s decided to carry on the chemotherapy – and it’s entirely her own choice.

One look at Chas and Cain immediately knew that wasn’t the case and pointed out their mother is dying – all the chemotherapy will do (according to Cain) is make Faith ‘so sick she doesn’t give a stuff whether she lives or dies’.

Will Chas realise she’s made a mistake?

Will Faith go against her daughter’s wishes and stop the treatment anyway?
