Criminal Minds came to an end after 15 memorable seasons on CBS in 2020. Then earlier this year, the crime drama was released in full on Amazon Prime but what to watch next if you’ve already seen every episode? has you covered with the next five shows you should delve into if you’re a Criminal Minds fan.

5 shows to watch if you love Criminal Minds

Lie to Me

Drama Lie to Me focuses on Dr Cal Lightman who is played by Reservoir Dogs actor Tim Roth.

Cal is an expert in body language and facial expressions and he and his team accept assignments from local and federal law enforcement agencies to assist in investigations.

So the show has a similar tone to Criminal Minds in that it analyses behaviour to try and find the culprits.

There are three seasons of Lie to Me which can be watched on Fox and Amazon Prime.

If you would enjoy a cross between Criminal Minds and The Good Doctor then Numb3ers could be a good match.

The CBS mystery sees an FBI agent employ his mathematical-genius brother to help the bureau solve various crimes in Los Angeles.

Charlie Eppes (David Krumholtz) uses equations to track down criminals which is an interesting and unique concept.

There are six series which you can see via CBS, Hulu and Amazon  Prime.

Perhaps you’re tired of just seeing horrific crimes from the perspective of law enforcement.

While Dexter Morgan (Michael Hall) works as a forensic technician for the police department, he is also a man with homicidal tendencies, killing heinous perpetrators in his free time.

Dexter ran for eight series, coming to an end in 2013 but still remains a widely popular drama.

The show is currently available to watch on CBS and Hulu.

Much like Criminal Minds, NCIS is a crime procedural show which has been on our screens since 2005.

The drama follows the likes of Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team of agents who investigate crimes to do with the Marines and the Navy.

Almost every episode follows a new investigation so fans can tune in at any point.

NCIS, which airs on CBS, has been renewed for season 19 which is expected to begin sometime later this year.

The Following

If you’re looking for another show that delves into the mind of a serial killer then The Following could make a good watch.

The series sees retired FBI agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) deal with an incarcerated serial killer who has created an army of killers to carry out his mission.

There are only two seasons made and can be viewed on Fox.

Criminal Minds is available to watch on Amazon Prime.
