Dancing on Ices Brendan Cole and Ben Foden feuding over celeb group chat

Professional rugby play, Ben Foden has been caught in a rift with his Dancing on Ice co-star, Brendan Cole.

Ben, 36, is due to skate in the latest series of the ITV show, which is set to come onto screens in January 2022.

However, the rugby star has already gotten off to a rocky start, as he reportedly made a dig at Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan, 45, who is set to join the celebs skating on the show.

A source told The Sun: "Ben messaged everyone privately on Instagram and said 'if you want to join a chat, send me your number.'

"So whoever hasn't joined obviously hasn't given their number. So Ben called him out I think."

Allegedly, the rugby star thought Brendan believed himself to be too "big time" to join the other celebs in the group.

The other celebrities set to join Brendan and Ben include, former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, ex-Love Island star Liberty Poole and former S Club 7 singer, Rachel Stevens.

Brendan recently spoke to the Loose Women panel about his upcoming appearance on the show.

He said: "I am so so excited it's been a while coming now."

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional added: "I'm a fairly confident person, I like to think I'm going to be good at whatever I put my hand to, or put my feet to.

However, when trying his moves on ice for the first time, he admitted: "I was terrible.

"I was a bit wobbly, as expected, you'd expect to be a bit wobbly on ice. But, I was hoping I would be a bit better than I was."

Ben, who was formerly married to The Saturdays' singer, Una Healy, also seems excited to be on the show.

Uploading a picture to Instagram, he wrote: "Looks like I'll be switching those rugby boots for ice skates… @dancingonice here I come!"

Dancing on Ice will be back on screens in January 2022 on ITV and the ITVhub.
