EastEnders has confirmed when three characters will be returning to the soap, with two legends and a recent departee making a comeback.
Lisa Fowler will be making her long-awaited return amid her daughter Louise Mitchell’s pregnancy, with it confirmed earlier in the year that she would briefly head back to Walford.
Lucy Benjamin has reprised her role for the scenes, while daughter Louise is currently on the run with partner Keanu Taylor who was accused of attacking Phil recently.
She’ll be joined by fellow legend Bianca Jackson, who was also surprisingly announced to be returning just months ago amid drama for her daughters Tiffany and Whitney.
Patsy Palmer filmed the scenes recently, while it’s not yet known how long she will be in Albert Square for.
Finally, spoilers released on the BBC website also confirmed a return for missing Keanu after he was framed by Ben Mitchell over Phil’s attack.
There’s no mention of Louise though despite her mum and fiancé both being back – so potentially she’s hiding away from Walford.
It kicks off in scenes in the week commencing Monday 2nd September , in what’s tipped to be a big week with Whitney’s wedding to Callum, and Hunter Owen wanting his revenge.
Whitney is yet to discover her partner Callum’s affair with Ben, with fans tipping wedding drama – as others hope the day will go as planned.
Bianca returns for the special occasion, while she also gets a reality check from daughter Tiff who has yet to tell her about her harrowing rape ordeal.
Lisa meanwhile tracks down friend Mel, who is hiding her criminal son Hunter and hoping to flee – while it isn’t known what has brought her back to Walford.
Then there’s Keanu, and it soon becomes clear why he’s back despite the police still being after him for Phil’s attack.
He goes head-to-head with Ben in his return scenes, which could always happen away from Walford, while it’s not revealed what goes down or whether he will be caught and arrested for the crime he didn’t even commit.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
