EastEnders' Danielle Harold looks miles away from her rough character Lola Pearce as she looks ready for business in London

EASTENDERS' Danielle Harold looks miles away from her rough character Lola Pearce – and looks ready for business in London.

Barely recognisable in a chic black dress and Gucci belt, Danielle was left to her own devices as she strolled along the high street near Elstree Studios yesterday.

The soap star appeared tanned and glamorous, and wore a sweep of pink lipstick, Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, Apple EarPods, a sparkling ring and a leather bag on one arm.

The only traits she shared with Lola were her slender frame and blonde locks.

Danielle recently told how she was thrilled to return to EastEnders after a four year break from the hit soap – so she could stop playing sex workers.

The 26-year-old actress admitted she was offered too many "sleazy" roles during her hiatus from Albert Square.

Danielle played Lola Pearce on EastEnders until 2015, but was quickly "stereotyped" as a blonde who could play prostitutes and pole dancers.

“I was stereotyped – it was the classic prostitute or pole dancing role,” she told the Mirror.

“I think it was because of my blonde hair.”

After leaving EastEnders Danielle starred in several low budget horror films including Fanged Up, Two Graves, The Tombs and Monster.

So she admits she "couldn't wait to be back" to her role as the feisty ex-care home kid and granddaughter of Billy Mitchell.

“I was 17 when I started on EastEnders and I feel like I have grown up a lot. It is a crazy thing to be a part of the show so young," she said.

“When you are younger you go out a lot more, but I don’t do the clubbing scene now.

“I sound like I am 60 but I’m only 26. I feel old. Now I’m just looking forward to getting stuck into it.”

In 2012 her character gave birth to baby Lexi in a special live broadcast and the baby's father is Ben Mitchell – Lola's gay third cousin once removed.

She is the first EastEnders actress to portray giving birth live on air and the second soap actress after Corrie's Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Brown).

Lola’s certainly caused a stir since rocking up in Walford and breaking Jay Brown’s heart all over again
