Emmerdale fans saw Dawn Taylor (played by Olivia Bromley) give DI Malone (Mark Womack) his highly-anticipated comeuppance earlier this month after he nearly convinced her to inject a lethal dose of heroin. However, with only Dawn and Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) aware of the crime, it seems as though Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) could be in grave danger as the police race to find out the truth heats up.
Dawn killed Malone earlier this month, with her future stepmother Harriet acting as an accomplice.
Last week, the pressure upped for Dawn and she struggled to cope with the reality of what she’d done.
The young mum threatened to leave the village behind and was narrowly convinced to stay by her family.
Instead, she decided to end her relationship with Billy after becoming concerned he would find out what she had done.
However, her now ex-boyfriend is in the frame for the crime after he was taken to be grilled by the police on Friday night.
But in tonight’s episode, it seems as though the rest of the Taylor family will be suspicious of how much Billy has divulged to the police.
Will this end up leading to one member of the clan deciding to go to desperate measures in order to keep Billy quiet?
Billy was confronted by the police officer while chatting to his brother Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony).
However, when he arrives back tonight, Will (Dean Andrews) won’t be happy after his questioning.
Despite being released without charge, it won’t be the last of the troubles ahead for the resident.
He will instantly be probed by Will, who is desperate to know how the ordeal went down.
Will – who is currently the main suspect of DI Malone’s supposed disappearance – begs Billy to disclose information to him on what was said.

But despite Billy promising he revealed as little as possible to DS Wise (Neil Roberts), Will isn’t content with what he has to say.
There’s another twist in store when Billy recalls the fact he only ended up in the situation due to Will mentioning his name to the police.
Billy issues Will with a threat, revealing he could decide to spill all to the police if the latter doesn’t back down.
However, this may end up proving a dangerous error from Billy as he is yet to know Harriet’s devious ways.
