After such an epic stint of action during Super Soap Week, it looks like there's no end to the amount of drama in store for the residents of Emmerdale.
The stunt-packed episodes saw Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) wield her killer instinct for the second time on the show – this time targeting Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale). Fans tuned in to watch as Meena left Andrea for dead in the burning maize maze.
Meena's latest kill comes just a few months after she murdered Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger). We all know there's a shelf-life on soap villains, and Jonny McPherson – who plays Liam Cavanagh – seems to think his character could be the one to put an end to Meena's murderous reign.
Jonny said Liam will turn "murderous" if the truth about Leanna's death is ever revealed.
"I just think the red mist will descend, definitely. I think it would take an intervention of some sort for him to not want to just destroy her.
"Liam confides in her [Meena] in a way he doesn’t with other people, and the fact that she would have done all that knowingly, it will just compound the fury that he would otherwise have felt if none of that had happened."

Jonny continued: "With every single interaction she has with Liam where she pretends to be his friend, it just digs her own grave ever deeper."
However, it sounds like Meena is far from finished. Jonny's comments come as Emmerdale producer Jane Hudson hints that the events set to unfold could see Meena kill again.
Jane told Inside Soap: "With David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) having now chosen Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins), Meena sets her sights on another of our villagers, but will she lure him into her web?"

Jane went on to say: "And when someone comes close to finding out what happened on the adventure week, Meena has to take drastic action."
A lot of the story is still shrouded in mystery, but one thing is for certain: the longer Meena remains at large, the more people she'll kill and the more enemies she'll make.
Could we be staring down the barrel at a big whodunnit saga? Only time will tell…
Emmerdale continues on weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
