Emmerdale star wows fans with isolation snap as she's miles away from evil Maya

Emmerdale star Louisa Clein has been updating fans while quarantining in a hotel ahead of a new role she’s taking on.

The actress, who portrayed Maya Stepney on the ITV soap, shared a selfie with her followers on social media, and told them that she’s got one more day of isolation left.

‘This is what day 6 of isolation looks like,’ she wrote on Instagram alongside the snap of herself. ‘A bit blurry and rather soggy. I’ve been running everyday to keep me from constantly eating and I must admit I kinda like it!!

‘The adventures begin tomorrow and the constant eating will reassuringly resume.

‘In the meantime, housekeeping mistook my knitting needle for a chopstick and chucked it so i have no idea what I will do for the rest of the day. #onemoredaytofreedom#theadventurestartstomorrow.’

Fans were quick to offer their support, with one telling Louisa that she’s ‘Lookin good on it.’

‘Looking so beautiful and gorgeous as always’, wrote another, while a third social media user said: ‘Look good to me

Former co-star Ash Palmisiciano, who plays Matty Barton in Emmerdale, offered words of encouragement, telling her that she’s ‘nearly there.’

Last month, Louisa wowed fans with a new hair transformation, when she revealed a look that was ‘a lot less curly’.

‘Bit less blonde. A lot less curly. And nowhere to go tonight except home!!!,’ she wrote at the time, alongside a selfie.

The soap star, 42, also thanked her hairdresser for ‘taming the curls,’ before adding that it’s only ‘for a short while’.

Louisa, who is also known for her work in Judge John Deed, played Maya in Emmerdale between 2018 and 2019.

The character abused mainstay Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), and was later sentenced to prison.

She was eventually released, and gave birth to a baby, Theo, who turned out to be David Metcalfe’s (Matthew Wolfenden) son.
