Emmerdale's Al Chapman threatens to murder Cain Dingle's son Kyle in sickening plot

AL Chapman's ongoing feud with the Dingle family is not set to be resolved any time soon.

An upcoming episode of Emmerdale will see the businessman (Michael Wildman) make a veiled death threat to Cain Dingle, targeting 10-year-old Kyle.

In recent weeks, Al's plan to sabotage The Woolpack and turn it into luxury flats has made him into one of most unpopular characters in the ITV soap.

But as tensions grow between him and the Dingles, Al also has to deal with Gavin, a business partner determined to get his money back, no matter the cost.

Viewers have suspected that the thug could take his frustrations out on Ellis, Al's 24-year-old son.

However, the New Year will see Cain (Jeff Hordley) turn the feud into a war as he lashes out on Ellis.

After Cain goes on a night out with Moira, he leaves his son Kyle (played by Huey Quinn) with Belle and Ellis.

But when Priya calls for Ellis' help, a key mixup leads young Kyle to hospital after being left out in the car in hypothermic conditions.

Furious and extremely worried for his son, left in a critical state, Cain sees red and gets revenge on Ellis, whom he blames for the incident.

Cain first orders Marlon to evict the young man from Tall Tree before abandoning him out on the moors.

Ellis is left out in the cold, curled up on the ground with freezing, blistered and bloodied feet.

Noticing his son never made it to the B&B, Al finds out Ellis was last spotted with Cain, who he decides to confront.

Al later manages to save Ellis from the cold with the help of Marlon but still has revenge on his mind.

Back in hospital, Cain bumps into Al, feeling sickened upon seeing him watching Kyle sleep.

Turning to Cain, Al implicitly threatens the young boy as retribution for targeting Ellis in his fit of rage.

Could Al really get revenge on Cain by making his young son Kyle as his main target?
