Emmerdale's Joanne Mitchell has discussed working alongside her real-life husband Dominic Brunt, who plays Paddy Kirk.
The actress, 50, recently returned to the hit ITV soap as Sandra Flaherty and her character has already scammed on-screen daughter Liv Flaherty, played by Isobel Steele.
Talking about her return and working alongside her real-life husband Dominic, 52, who she married in 2003, Joanne told Inside Soap: "It’s great. I’ve been in and out a few times over the years but this time we’re going to see a few more layers to Sandra’s character and develop her a bit more.
"So, we’ll see where the journey goes. It’s always good playing opposite Izzy Steel [who plays Liv Flaherty] and I get to work with other members of the cast too. They’re a fabulous bunch."
She added: "I haven’t seen Dominic at the studios yet since I’ve been back this time. It’s fun to be on the same show but I’ve not actually worked with him yet. We haven’t had any scenes together as our characters live separate lives in the village."
It comes after Joanne teased her character's downfall on the hit ITV soap.
Only recently, Sandra left her daughter Liv and son-in-law Vinny Dingle stunned as she showed up out of the blue asking for help with her alcoholism.
However, after her behaviour started to raise suspicions, Sandra was forced to admit she owes four grand to a man named Terry, who fans recognised from Corrie.
And last week, Terry showed up as he stormed into their home and demanded his money to which Liv offered to pay him off with her own money.
Later on, Liv paid off the money as Terry admitted he was "glad to see the back of her" with Sandra admitting it was a relief to get him off her back.
However, at the end of the episode, it was revealed that Sandra and Terry were working together as they split the £4,000 between themselves.
Sandra warned: "If this goes according to plan, I'll rinse that girl for everything she's got!"
Talking about the storyline at a recent press day with OK! and other publications , Sandra star Joanne teased her character's downfall amid Vinny's suspicions.
She said: "I think it’s going to be harder to get around Vinny than anything because obviously he's stronger and he's got Liv’s back. And that could be a problem for Sandra, I think.

"So she's turned on the waterworks, she's turned on the emotion and she's really sort of ramped it all up basically to create more drama than is probably necessary.
"I think Vinny, it's a really difficult position for Vinny to be in because at the end of the day, Sandra is Liv’s mum and it's obvious that Liv cares for her mum. So he's got to play it as well. He's got to be careful."
